The Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) baseball got by the visiting Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Saxons now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Herndon for a Liberty challenge on Friday, April 25. Langley will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 4-0 league win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 9-3.

With the defeat, Wakefield School drops to 2-3 on the year. The Fighting owls host Yorktown (Arlington, VA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Yorktown won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)
