Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), 10-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Langley advances its record to 10-10 on the season. The Saxons travel to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA) to battle the Generals in a Liberty match on Thursday, May 15. The Generals come into the match with a record of 15-9. Washington-Liberty lost 7-2 in their recent league match against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)

The Fighting Owls now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 14. Wakefield School will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-3 league win over Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-8.
