The Albemarle Patriots lacrosse squad scored 20 points and limited the host Charlottesville Black Knights to 11 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now hold a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Salem for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Albemarle will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 23-0 league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Charlottesville falls to 1-7 on the year. The Black knights host Eastern View (Culpeper, VA) to meet the Cyclones in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 23. The Cyclones enter the contest with a record of 4-1. Eastern View lost 20-4 in their recent non-league contest against Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA)
