Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 20-10 in a league game.

With the victory, Albemarle improves its record to 7-7 on the season. The Patriots travel to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to play the Warriors in a Jefferson game on Wednesday, May 21. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 10-1.

The Black Knights now have a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Albemarle for a Jefferson game on Tuesday, May 20. Charlottesville will play a Warriors team coming off a 16-2 league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-1.
