In Tuesday's league test, the Angola Hornets (Angola, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fremont Eagles (Fremont, IN), by a tally of 8-2.

Next, the Hornets clash with the Garrett Railroaders (Garrett, IN) in a Northeast Corner test, on Thursday, April 24. Angola will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Railroaders go into the test with a 9-2 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, IN).

The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their test against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Barons go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, DeKalb was routed by Woodlan (Woodburn, IN), 19-6, in a non-league test.
