The Fremont Eagles the visiting Angola Hornets softball squad by a count of 5-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Fremont will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Concord (Elkhart, IN).

The Hornets (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN). The Panthers come into the Northeast Corner battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Prairie Heights was routed by Churubusco (Churubusco, IN), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
