The Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN) softball nipped the visiting Southland Rebels (Adams, MN), 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Hurricanes now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons for a non-league outing on Friday, April 25. Houston will encounter a team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN). The record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Southland moves to 8-2 on the year. The Rebels host Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN) to meet the Athletics in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Athletics enter the challenge with a record of 1-6.
