The Houston Hurricanes softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Southland Rebels to 7 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mabel-Canton for a Southeast battle on Thursday, May 15. Houston will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Southland moves to 16-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to Lyle/Pacelli (Lyle, MN) to confront the Athletics in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15. The Athletics come into the battle with a record of 2-15. Lyle/Pacelli lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN)
