Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR), 18-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Salem Academy upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Crusaders host Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR) to play the Trojans in a 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 game on Friday, April 25. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 6-7. Kennedy lost 8-7 in their recent non-league game against Regis (Stayton, OR)

The Buckaroos now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Western Christian for a 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 game on Wednesday, April 23. St. Paul will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 18-2 league loss to Salem Academy (Salem, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-10.
