The Burns Hilanders crushed the host Umatilla Vikings baseball team by a tally of 29-3 in Saturday's league bout.
The Hilanders now hold a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Nyssa for a 3A Special District 5 bout on Tuesday, April 26. Burns will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Melba (Melba, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-12.
Next, the Vikings face the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a 3A Special District 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 26. Umatilla will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Enterprise/Joseph (Enterprise, OR).
