The Langtree Charter Lions softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Corvian Community Cardinals to 13 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Langtree Charter moves its record to 5-10 on the year. The Lions host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 24. The Stallions come into the game with a record of 14-3. Queen's Grant won 18-0 in their recent league game against Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC)

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A game, on Thursday, April 25. Corvian Community will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 3-11 record after their 19-3 league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC).
