Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Silver Foxes now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lexington for a AAAAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, April 26. Dutch Fork will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, River Bluff falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Gators host Chapin (Chapin, SC) to battle the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, April 26. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 16-5. Chapin lost 12-11 in their recent non-league challenge against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC)
