With the triumph, Laurel moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Freedom Area (Freedom, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a WPIAL 2A 1 contest on Wednesday, April 24. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 5-7. Freedom Area won 9-3 in their recent league game against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 game, on Friday, April 26. Shenango will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Lancers come into the game with a 12-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA).
