The Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), 17-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albuquerque Academy for a 4A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Bernalillo will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 24-4 league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 15-9.

With the defeat, Hope Christian drops to 14-8 on the year. The Huskies host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Vikings in a 4A District 6 challenge on Monday, April 28. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Valley lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Belen (Belen, NM)
