The Lions (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Campbell (Campbell, MO). The Camels enter the Class 2 District 1 battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Campbell defeated Scott County Central (Sikeston, MO), 15-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 24. Caruthersville will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 8-7 record after their 20-3 non-league win over Richland (Richland, MO).
