The Senath-Hornersville Lions baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Caruthersville Tigers to 3 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.
The Lions now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portageville for a Class 2 District 1 test on Tuesday, May 6. Senath-Hornersville will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-0 league win over South Pemiscot (Steele, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-9.
With the defeat, Caruthersville drops to 14-10 on the year. The Tigers host Hayti (Hayti, MO) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Indians go into the test with a record of 0-9. Hayti lost 11-10 in their recent league test against Delta (Deering, MO)
