The East Providence Townies lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 1 in the Townies league triumph on Wednesday.

The Townies now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tiverton for a Division 4 challenge on Friday, April 25. East Providence will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Cranston East falls to 0-7 on the year. The Thunderbolts host North Providence (North Providence, RI) to clash with the Cougars in a Division 4 challenge on Monday, April 28. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 1-8. North Providence lost 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Classical (Providence, RI)
