The East Providence Townies lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Cranston East Thunderbolts to 5 in the Townies league triumph on Friday.

The Townies now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 4 challenge on Tuesday, May 20. East Providence will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Cranston East falls to 0-12 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to North Providence (North Providence, RI) to clash with the Cougars in a Division 4 challenge on Tuesday, May 20. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 4-12. North Providence won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Classical (Providence, RI)
