The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Caldera (Bend, OR) and the visiting Summit Storm (Bend, OR), observed Caldera's softball team prevail over Summit by a tally of 15-0.

The (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Bend (Bend, OR). The Lava Bears go into the 5A Intermountain bout with a 7-7 record. In their last bout, Bend knocked off Mountain View (Bend, OR), 8-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Storm clash with the Ridgeview Ravens (Redmond, OR) in a 5A Intermountain bout, on Friday, April 25. Summit will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record.
