The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Caldera (Bend, OR) and the host Summit Storm (Bend, OR), observed Caldera's softball team notch a victory over Summit by a tally of 14-4.

The (9-11) will now prepare for their bout against Bend (Bend, OR). The Lava Bears go into the 5A Intermountain bout with a 11-9 record. In their last bout, Bend gained a win over Mountain View (Bend, OR), 8-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Ridgeview Ravens (Redmond, OR) in a 5A Intermountain bout, on Wednesday, May 7. Summit will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 18-0 record after their 13-0 league win over Redmond (Redmond, OR).
