New York High School Softball - Pittsford edges Gates Chili

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Pittsford Panthers softball team scored a tight 11-9 win over the Gates Chili Spartans.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Eastridge (Rochester, NY). The Lancers come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Eastridge nipped Brockport (Brockport, NY), 10-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Spencerport Rangers (Spencerport, NY) in a Class A match, on Friday, April 25. Gates Chili will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Rangers come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Greece Odyssey (Rochester, NY).
