In Thursday's league test, the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM), by a tally of 6-0.

Next, the Tigers clash with the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 27. Aztec will attempt to advance on its 16-4 season record. The Sartans go into the test with a 19-5 record after their 14-4 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).

The Bobcats (8-16) will now prepare for their test against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Broncos go into the 4A District 1 test with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Kirtland Central held off Shiprock (Shiprock, NM), 11-3, in a league test.
