In Monday's league challenge, the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) baseball squad edged the host South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), by a final score of 4-3.

With the win, Jack Britt upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Buccaneers host Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to battle the Bears in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Gray's Creek won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against South View (Hope Mills, NC)

With the defeat, South View falls to 9-12 on the season. The Tigers host Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Colts in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, April 25.
