Pennsylvania High School Softball - Apollo Ridge can't hold off Greensburg Central Catholic

The Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings to 12 in the Centurions league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Greensburg Central Catholic improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Centurions host Steel Valley (Munhall, PA) to clash with the Ironmen in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 25. The Ironmen come into the game with a record of 3-6. Steel Valley won 8-2 in their recent league game against Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA)
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 26. Apollo Ridge will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 10-0 league win over United (Armagh, PA).
