In Monday's league contest, the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Rockingham County moves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Cougars host Dudley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Panthers in a Mid-State 3A contest on Tuesday, April 25. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 7-9. Dudley lost 15-0 in their recent league contest against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)
In their next game, the Camels play the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) in a Mid-State 3A contest, on Tuesday, April 25. Atkins will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 17-0 league win over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC).
