In Monday's league contest, the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) softball team held off the visiting Henry Hudson Admirals (Highlands, NJ), by a margin of 7-6.

With the triumph, Point Pleasant Beach moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Garnet Gulls travel to St. Rose (Belmar, NJ) to play the Purple Roses in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 26. The Purple Roses come into the contest with a record of 2-3.
