Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Kenmore East Bulldogs (Tonawanda, NY), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenmore West for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge on Friday, April 26. Grand Island will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Kenmore East falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lockport (Lockport, NY) to battle the Lions in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge on Monday, April 29. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
