Pennsylvania High School Softball - James Buchanan can't get by Big Spring

The Big Spring Bulldogs edged the visiting James Buchanan Rockets softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Dover Eagles (Dover, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 26. Big Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 11-8 non-league win over Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA).

The Rockets (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Storm enter the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Mercersburg Academy edged Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ), 7-4, in a league challenge.
