Pennsylvania High School Softball - James Buchanan defeated by Big Spring

The James Buchanan Rockets softball squad (Mercersburg, PA), was routed 18-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Big Spring Bulldogs (Newville, PA)

With the triumph, Big Spring improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA) to face the Blue Devils in a Mid-Penn - Colonial contest on Monday, May 5. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a record of 17-1. Greencastle-Antrim won 10-3 in their recent league contest against Northern York (Dillsburg, PA)

The Rockets now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Boiling Springs for a Mid-Penn - Colonial contest on Monday, May 5. James Buchanan will face a Bubblers squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA). The Bubblers record now stands at 9-10.
