The Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) softball nipped the visiting Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH), 3-2 in Thursday's league outing.

The Vikings now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allen Park for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. Hoover will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 18-0 league win over Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Lake moves to 9-4 on the season. The Blue streaks travel to Steele (Amherst, OH) to confront the Comets in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. The Comets come into the battle with a record of 12-3. Steele won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH)
