Washington High School Softball - La Conner sneaks past Orcas Island

In Thursday's league match, the visiting La Conner Braves softball team scored a tight 10-9 win over the Orcas Island Vikings.
The Braves (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Darrington (Darrington, WA). The Loggers come into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Darrington nipped Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA), 16-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Darrington Loggers (Darrington, WA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 26. Orcas Island will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Loggers enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA).
