The Maranacook Black Bears baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Waynflete Flyers to 4 in the Black Bears league victory on Monday.
The Black Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Seagulls go into the Class C South match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Old Orchard Beach was overwhelmed by Richmond (Richmond, ME), 10-2, in a non-league match.
The Flyers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Mount View edged Traip (Kittery, ME), 5-4, in a non-league match.
