Nevada High School Softball - Cheyenne can't hold off Moapa Valley

The Moapa Valley Pirates softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Cheyenne Desert Shields to 17 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Moapa Valley improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Miners in a game on Wednesday, April 27. The Miners come into the game with a record of 2-6.
Coming up next, the Desert Shields encounter the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 29. Cheyenne will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
