La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Los Amigos Lobos (Fountain Valley, CA), 11-10 in a league challenge.

The Aztecs now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loara for a challenge on Thursday, April 28. La Quinta will face a Saxons squad coming off a 11-5 league loss to Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Los Amigos falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a challenge on Wednesday, April 27. The Vaqueros enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Rancho Alamitos lost 11-6 in their recent league challenge against Loara (Anaheim, CA)
