Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH), 6-2 in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host GlenOak for a Region 2 battle on Thursday, April 28. Boardman will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Wooster (Wooster, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) in a Region 6 battle, on Wednesday, April 27. Cardinal Mooney will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 4-3 league win over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH).
