The Independence Patriots routed the host PikeView Panthers softball squad by a final score of 17-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Patriots (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against PikeView (Princeton, WV). The Panthers go into the Coalfield AA battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, PikeView was routed by Princeton (Princeton, WV), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
