The North Providence Cougars softball team (North Providence, RI), was routed 11-5 in Monday's league test with the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI)

Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 2 B test, on Thursday, April 28. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Chieftains come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 10-9 league win over Johnston (Johnston, RI).
