The Northern Durham Knights baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Hillside Hornets to 0 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights (8-10) will now prepare for their match against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wildcats go into the DAC-VII 4A match with a 5-14 record. In their last match, East Chapel Hill was overwhelmed by Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 4-0, in a league match.
The Hornets (2-15) will now prepare for their match against Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Pirates go into the DAC-VII 4A match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Riverside-Durham was overwhelmed by Southern Alamance (Graham, NC), 6-1, in a league match.
