The Gray's Creek Bears soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Lumberton Pirates to 1 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Bears face the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A contest, on Wednesday, April 26. Gray's Creek will attempt to better on its 13-0 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 10-6 record after their 6-0 league win over South View (Hope Mills, NC).
The Pirates now have a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Thursday, April 27. Lumberton will face a Colts team coming off a 9-0 league win over Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts record now stands at 11-4.
