North Carolina High School Softball - Northeast Guilford bounces Atkins

Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), 9-4 in a league challenge.

The Rams now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Rockingham County for a Mid-State 3A challenge on Wednesday, April 26. Northeast Guilford will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Atkins falls to 6-10 on the campaign.
