Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), 14-3 in a league challenge.
The Bears now own a 4-13 record.
With the loss, Newton-Conover falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Maiden (Maiden, NC) to battle the Blue Devils in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 16-2. Maiden won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC)
