The Giles Spartans softball team (Pearisburg, VA), was routed 20-2 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA)

Coming up next, the Pioneers encounter the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a Mountain Empire test, on Friday, April 28. Fort Chiswell will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 13-1 record after their 5-3 league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA).

The Spartans (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats come into the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Radford was routed by Glenvar (Salem, VA), 7-6, in a league test.
