Virginia High School Softball - Radford can't get by Glenvar

In Tuesday's league contest, the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) softball team held off the host Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Glenvar moves its record to 4-8 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers contest on Friday, April 28. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a record of 11-1. Carroll County won 25-0 in their recent non-league contest against Galax (Galax, VA)
In their next game, the Bobcats play the Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA) in a Three Rivers contest, on Monday, May 1. Radford will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Covington (Covington, VA).
