The Garrison Troopers got by the visiting Surrey Mustangs baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Troopers now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 30. Garrison will face a Cougars team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] (Berthold, ND). The Cougars record now stands at 1-5.
Next, the Mustangs face the Washburn/Wilton/Center-Stanton Cardinals (Washburn, ND) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 26. Surrey will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
