The Naperville Central Redhawks nipped the host DeKalb Barbs softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Thursday's league battle.

The Redhawks (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the non-league battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, West Aurora held off Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 17-0, in a league battle.
