The Naperville Central Redhawks softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting DeKalb Barbs to 3 in the Redhawks league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Naperville Central improves its record to 16-12 on the year. The Redhawks host Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a DuPage Valley game on Friday, May 10. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 13-12. Metea Valley won 9-6 in their recent league game against Naperville North (Naperville, IL)

In their next game, the Barbs clash with the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley game, on Friday, May 10. DeKalb will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 11-15 record after their 4-1 league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
