The El Capitan Vaqueros softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Santana Sultans to 6 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, El Capitan moves its record to 9-10 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to Point Loma (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Pointers in a City Eastern game on Saturday, April 27. The Pointers come into the game with a record of 12-7. Point Loma lost 8-2 in their recent league game against Christian (El Cajon, CA)

In their next game, the Sultans clash with the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont Hills game, on Tuesday, April 30. Santana will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Norsemen come into the game with a 4-18 record after their 4-3 league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA).
