Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Norwood-Norfolk Flyers (Norwood, NY), 20-0 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Salmon River for a Section 10 Central challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Franklin Academy will battle a Shamrocks squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY). The Shamrocks record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Norwood-Norfolk falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Massena (Massena, NY) to battle the Raiders in a Section 10 Central challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Massena won 23-2 in their recent league challenge against Potsdam (Potsdam, NY)
