St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Sartans now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hope Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. St. Pius X will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Valencia falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Hornets in a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 1-21.
