Virginia High School Baseball - Amherst County wallops Liberty

April 25, 2025: Amherst, VA 24521

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) and the visiting Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), saw Amherst County's baseball team gain a win over Liberty by a tally of 17-2.

The Lancers (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Seminole battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Liberty Christian was overwhelmed by Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Minutemen face the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 28. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA).
